Your most trusted sports hub Kickgh.com, confirmed this development to you couple of days ago that, Asante Kotoko marksman, Franck Etouga Mbella after an impressive season, is on the verge of leaving the club to sign for Egyptian topflight side Al Masry.
Just as reported, the picture of the Cameroonian gunman at the airport has popped up this morning, getting ready to leave to the North African country to finalise the move.
The 20 year old joined the Porcupine Warriors prior to the commencement of last season and really had an amazing campaign in the Ghanaian topflight.
He finished as the league's second top scorer with massive 21 goals in 30 appearances- an impressive performance which greatly propelled the Porcupine Warriors to their 24th league glory.
His stellar display saw him attracted many offers in the last transfer window, including a link to Italian Serie A side Udinese Calcio but the deal couldn't go through.
However, Franch Mbella after sealing the move with the Green Eagles, will see Asante Kotoko receive an amount of $400,000 as the transfer fee, with the latter also pocketing $25,000 as a monthly salary.
The 2021/22 Egypt Premier League season ended weeks ago with Zamalek emerging as champions, Al Masry missed out on continental football next season, having made a 13th-placed finish with 38 points.
