PAC Academy have surprisingly evicted Medeama SC by 2-4 via penalty shootouts to cruise into the quarter final of the FA Cup after a 1-1 draw in regulation time

The homesters made a very great start to the game and mounted so much pressure and eventually won themselves a penalty after an opposing player handled the ball in the box. 

Center-back Mubarik Yussif stepped up and converted neatly to put Medeama SC ahead in the third minute.

Just five minutes later, PAC Academy with a very quick response after getting back on level terms courtesy Faisal Shaibu who scored with a cool finish.

The two opening goals lived a very open game with both teams taking the game at each other but didn't score again as it finished in a score draw at half-time

Back from recess, Medeama SC bounced back stronger and threw more men forward in search of the opener hitting from all cylinders.

The Red-Blacks looked very compact and resolute having ensured they committed less mistakes but didn't really create much chances in the second phase.

The Mauve and Yellows despite all efforts and numerous chances created still couldn't find the net as it finished 1-1 in the end.

PAC Academy have really pulled a huge upset to send the two-time champions packing out of the competition.
