Former Asante Kotoko forward, Dickson Afoakwa, has signed a two-year deal with Division One side Rainmasters FC, marking a fresh chapter in his career.

The 26-year-old striker, who has been without a club since parting ways with Kotoko at the beginning of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season, is eager to make a comeback with the Accra-based club.

Afoakwa played a key role in helping Asante Kotoko end their trophy drought by winning the Ghana Premier League in the 2021/22 season.

Over two seasons, he made 25 league appearances for the Porcupine Warriors, contributing to their success.

RainMasters FC, formerly known as Accra Athletic FC, are set to face debutants True Democracy in their opening match of the 2024/25 Access Bank Division One League season.

The club will be relying on Afoakwa's experience as they push for promotion to the topflight next season.
