In their upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Angola in Luanda on Monday, Ghana will be without four key players due to injury issues.

Captain Andre Ayew, Alexander Djiku, Denis Odoi, and Mohammed Salisu did not travel with the Black Stars to Angola due to their respective injuries.

Andre Ayew suffered a knee injury while heading to the dressing room after the last game, and Alexander Djiku had to be substituted in the 87th minute due to an injury concern.

Furthermore, Club Brugge defender Denis Odoi sustained an injury during the game and was also ruled out of the upcoming match.

Meanwhile, Mohammed Salisu, who recently returned from an injury for Southampton, was deemed unfit for the games upon his arrival at the camp.

Their absence would be a significant blow to Chris Hughton's team, who aim to secure a spot in next year's AFCON with a win. Ghana currently leads Group E with seven points from three games.
