Black Stars 'B' manager Annor Walker has called up Accra Lions goalkeeper Frederick Asare in his squad, in preparation of their upcoming international assignments.
The highly-rated youngster impressed for his club in their debut season in Ghana's elite league and was recognised as one of the best goal custodians in the division, and Walker has continued his policy of giving top performance the chance to prove themselves with the Black Stars 'B' team.
Asare, who kept 13 clean sheets in 28 appearances will be eager to impress Walker in training.
Accra Lions drew 1-1 with Kotoko on Saturday at the Accra Sports Stadium, and Asare drew praise from fans and pundits alike with his excellent display in goal. Making a series of stunning reflex saves, the Accra Lions man proved exactly why he deserved a chance with the Black Stars 'B' team.
