President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Edwin Simon Okraku has been congratulated by Minister of Sports and Recreation, Hon. Kofi Iddie Adams on his new appointment at CAF.

The Confederation of African announced the head of Ghana football as the new 2nd Vice-President of the association and was finalized at the Executive Committee meeting in Accra on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

In a statement from the ministry, the University of Liverpool alumnus was highly praised for his new role and has been wished well to excel

President Simeon-Okraku, who also heads WAFU Zone B, has been recognized for his exemplary leadership in Ghana and within the football fraternity in West Africa and Africa at large.

The newly-appointed CAF Vice Presidents include:

CAF First Vice President: Fouzi Lekjaa (Morocco)

CAF Second Vice President: Kurt Okraku (Ghana)Soccer ball

CAF Third Vice President: Pierre-Alain Mounguengui (Gabon)

CAF Fourth Vice President: Ms Bestine Kazadi Ditabala (Democratic Republic of Congo)

CAF Fifth Vice President: Feizal Sidat (Mozambique)
