The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has teamed up with the National Lottery Authority (NLA) and gaming company Rambell to launch a groundbreaking fan promotion that will see 220 lucky supporters win an all-expenses-paid trip to cheer on the Black Stars at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Ghana secured qualification for the global showpiece in dominant fashion, finishing top of Group I in the African qualifiers with 25 points, and remaining unbeaten throughout the campaign.

The Black Stars’ impressive run sealed their return to the World Cup, where they’ll compete among World’s best in the mundial set to take place across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Speaking at the official launch on Tuesday, November 4, at the GFA headquarters in Accra, GFA President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku said the initiative is a way of rewarding the unwavering support Ghanaians have shown the national team.

“We are hoping to take 220 fans to the World Cup to enjoy the tournament and support the Black Stars,” Okraku said.

“We are very grateful to Ghanaians for the love and belief they showed during our qualification journey,” Okraku continued. “This initiative ensures that our passionate supporters remain at the very heart of Ghana’s World Cup story.”

The official World Cup draw is set for December 5, when the Black Stars will learn their group-stage opponents as preparations ramp up for the tournament.
