In preparation for the forthcoming GFA Presidential Elections scheduled for Thursday, October 5, 2023, the Ghana Football Association has temporarily relocated its Secretariat to Tamale.
The move is in anticipation of this year's GFA Extraordinary Congress, which will take place in Tamale.
The decision to transfer the Secretariat to the Northern Regional capital aims to ensure that all necessary facilities and logistical arrangements are in place to facilitate a successful Congress. Tamale, situated in the Northern Region of Ghana, has a rich history of nurturing talented footballers and skilled administrators, contributing significantly to the development of football in the country.
The football community in the Northern Region is fully prepared and eager to host the 2023 GFA Elective Congress, underscoring their commitment to the growth and advancement of Ghanaian football.
