Midfielder Yaw Yeboah expresses optimism that Ghana can break their prolonged Africa Cup of Nations title drought in Ivory Coast next month.
Despite being four-time African champions, Ghana last secured the title in 1982 and has faced defeat in the finals on three occasions since then.
Yeboah, a potential member of the final squad for the January tournament, believes Ghana possesses the necessary quality to emerge as champions.
"We have all the qualities to be there, all the qualities to win the AFCON," he said, as quoted by Joy Sports.
"We are hoping that everything goes well for the players and also for the country to ensure we win."
Yeboah, part of the Columbus Crew, recently returned to Ghana following the club's triumphant campaign in the Major League Soccer.
