The Black Stars of Ghana have moved four places up in the latest FIFA World Rankings which was released on the early hours of today, June 20, 2024.

Ghana is jumping four places up following their unmatched performances in the last round of matches in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Coach Otto Addo's men came from behind to beat Mali 1-2 in Bamako to record their first win this year, and made it even better with a 4-3 home win over Central African Republic to climb to the second position in Group I.

These excellent performances has seen the four-time African champions make a significant step having moved from the 68th position to 64th worldwide.

Also, they have climbed up two places in the African list, having moved from 14th to the 12th position.

World champions Argentina are still on top worldwide, France, Belgium, Brazil and England still find themselves in the top five.
