Ghana have jumped a place up in the latest Coca Cola FIFA ranking but still missed out in the top ten in Africa.
The four-time African champions for the past two years haven't been faring well on the ranking despite not missing out on any major tournament within that period at senior level.
As at April 6, when the last rankings was released, Ghana were placed 60th worldwide and 11th on the continent with a total points of 1396.01.
The current one which has just been announced has seen Ghana moved from the 60th to the 59th position worldwide but still find themselves at the same position on the continent from the last one but had their points, built up to 1391.13 this time around.
Current world champions Argentina maintained their lead at the summit, whiles France, Brazil, England and Belgium follow in a pecking order. UEFA Nations League first runners up Croatia are found 6th whiles the champions Spain are lurking around the 10th spot.
In Africa, Morocco maintained their lead and are ranked 13th worldwide. No any major changes as Senegal, Tunisia, Algeria, Egypt also follow in that order.
Ghana's last game was a goalless draw with Madagascar in Antananarivo in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers and will have to beat Central African Republic in the final round of matches in September to secure qualification.
