Black Queens midfielder, Ernestina Abambila has been named the best player in the just ended Poland Women's Premier League following her stellar display throughout the entire season.

The 23 year old powered her side, UKS SMS Lódz to clinch the Women's Ekstraliga having finished the season with massive 18 wins out of the total 22 matches, drawing one with three defeats to amass 55 points in the end.

She also made 21 appearances, missing just a game with eight goal involvement in total, having netted three and provided five assists.
 
Ernestina Abambila, who is the first Ghanaian to score in the UEFA Women's Champions League, at the end of the Ekstraliga season award last Monday, was tipped as the most valuable player and also commanded a place in their team of the season. 
 
With the national team, the ex- FC Minsk midfielder has risen through all the ranks, having played for the Black Maidens, Black Princesses and currently with the senior national team, Black Queens.
