Ghanaian champions Medeama SC have safely arrived in United Arab Emirates, Dubai precisely for their short training tour as they are being hosted by Al Nasr SC to warm themselves up for their subsequent assignments in the ongoing season.

The two-time FA Cup conquerors left the shores of the country in the mid-afternoon of Monday with players, technical team and other officials.

The Mauves and Yellows are being hosted in the Asian country by UAE Pro League side Al-Nasr SC who feels their opposition will be really good and malleable for them to test their strength as they hope to offer an improved performance in the remainder of the season.

Medeama SC suffered a painful 0-1 home loss to Egyptian giants Al Ahly over the weekend in match-day five of the CAF Champions League with their elimination from the competition confirmed after Yanga's win over CR Belouizdad in the same round of matches.

The Tarkwa-based side are expected to hold some training sessions to acclimatize quickly in UAE before they play against the 'Al Ameed' in a preparatory friendly and will move straight to Algeria afterwards

They will play as guests to CR Belouizdad in the final group matches on Friday, March 1, 2024.
