Inaki William's younger brother, Nico, is still reluctant with regards to him switching his nationality to also play for Ghana, and that idea has been supported by their uncle Richard Ahenkorah who believes the player needs time to develop.

The 19 year old got promoted into the first team of Athletico Bilbao  in 2021 and is gradually following his brother's suit hoping to become a mainstay.

Inaki Williams couple of days ago, confirmed his nationality switch to play for Ghana, after featuring for the Spanish national team and the Basque country.

In an interview with Akoma FM, Richard Ahenkorah has stated Ghanaians should remain calm for his niece as he is very optimistic he will also play for the Black Stars very soon due to the love he has for the country;

"Nico is a brother of Inaki, and the process which Inaki went through has also begun for Inaki."

"He's very talented and skillful. He is just 19years and has even started playing for Bilbao (main team) from age 18. He is now picking up but yet to play regularly in the first team."

"We should give him the chance to get matured and surely he will be ready for Ghana (Black Stars). We just have to give him a little time to progress just as we did for Inaki but the final decision rest with the player."

"He is a Ghanaian, and really love the country but I cannot confirm his nationality switch but surely at the right time the decision will come."
