Ghana Football Association President, Kurt Okraku insists that qualifying for the World Cup is the biggest achievement that any football association (FA) can attain.
Ghana qualified for the World Cup in Qatar after beating Nigeria in the qualifying play-offs in March.
Ghana will face Uruguay, South Korea and Portugal in the group stages of the mundial.
Ghana have scheduled three pre-World Cup friendlies with Brazil, Nicaragua and Switzerland before their first game on 24th November.
Otto Addo is expected to name his squad for the first two friendlies against Brazil and Nicaragua next month in Europe.
The former broadcaster, Kurt Okraku says it's the beginning of a new era for Ghana Football, as he insists that qualifying for the World Cup is the biggest thing any FA can achieve.
"This (World Cup) is the biggest achievement any member association can talk about. You can qualify for the u15, u17, u23 and the women but if you are absent at the Mundial believe me, you are nothing," he said at 2022 Congress.
"We shouldn't take it for granted that we've qualified because this marks the beginning of a new era for Ghana football.
"When you qualify for the world cup, you are treated differently, for my colleagues who have been to Qatar, you've had a feel of it and you belong to the big boys," he added.
