Founder of Ghana Premier League side King Faisal FC, Alhaji Abdul Karim Gurusah escapes death in an unfortunate accident on the Tamale-Kumasi road,  confirmed by himself in an interview

The scary incident occurred when the veteran football administrator was returning from the Northern Region's capital after his side had embarrassingly lost 4-0 to Tamale City FC last Saturday in GPL match-week 30 opener.

Alhaji Gurusah wasn't alone in his SUV vehicle of which the driver whose name is yet to be determined, lost control of the steer and unpleasantly drove into a car parked on the other side of the road.

He was together with his Operations Manager Nana Amankwah in the car but unfortunately they implored the mercy of the Lord at that particular and secured survival.

The ace business man confirmed this development in an interview with Footballmadeinghana.com;

"Sheikh, we were saved by Allah,” Grusah said speaking to our editor Sheikh Tophic Sienu.

“While going to play the game, I had prepared to sleep over because I would also attend a funeral over there.

“But after the 4-0 defeat, I got worried and asked the boys we should move back to Kumasi. On the way we were greeted with this accident.

“We’re treated at the Techiman Hospital and later discharged. We are currently home and will go back to the hospital tomorrow."
