Ghana Women's Premier League powerhouse Hasaacas Ladies have confirmed the signing of Alice Sarpong on a three-year contract.

Sarpong, 20, decided to join Hasmal after ending her short spell with Yenagoa-based Nigeria outfit Bayelsa Queens FC.

Head coach of Hasaacas Ladies, Yusif Basigi triggered a mandatory purchase with the addition of the former Sea Lions goal poacher.

"The inclusion of Alice Sarpong to the team will go a long way to help us because she is aggressive and we need that aggression. She is also committed and an attacking-minded player and in all she is a very workaholic player that every coach would like to work with," Basigi said.

"With me, I’ll do well to polish her potential and will make sure she improves on all the aspects I’ve mentioned and make sure she becomes that asset to Hasaacas Ladies FC," he added.

The former Ghana women's national U17 player joins a 'Doooooooo' side desperate for a boost after their star player Doris Boaduwaa left the club to join Serbian Women's Super League side ŽFK Spartak Subotica.
