Moldovan-based netminder, Razak Abalora has expressed his readiness to return into the Black Stars having missed out for almost a year now.

The 25 year old has been an integral figure since joining FC Sheriff Tiraspol in the middle of the season and ended up as a league winner, his first in his career.

Also, he made his UEFA Champions League debut in the midweek, having kept a clean sheet in their game against Bosnian champions HSK Zrinjski Mostar in the second leg.

Abalora's last Black Stars appearance was against Morocco in an international friendly in June last year at the Mohammed V Stadium- a game Ghana lost narrowly after full time.

Speaking to Akoma FM, the highly-rated goalie has exhibited his readiness to return and added that, the current goalkeepers should be backed in the upcoming assignments.

"For Black Stars we all have the right to play for the national team depending on your performance and that has been the hall mark."

"I am doing my best and I am ever ready when the chance comes. The current goalkeepers really deserve it and let's give them the needed support."

"For me, I will keep working hard to aid my club to make it into the Champions league, that's what I'm thinking now. When called into the black Stars, I am ever ready."
