Freda Ayisi, midfielder for Charlton Athletic, has expressed her eagerness to contribute to the Black Queens' quest for Olympic qualification in Paris.
The England-based player joined the Black Queens for the first time on Monday and actively participated in training on Tuesday as the team geared up for their crucial match against Zambia.
Ahead of Friday's clash in Accra, Ayisi conveyed her excitement about being part of the team and emphasized the importance of each game in their pursuit of Olympic qualification.
"It feels amazing, I'm happy to be here, training with the girls feels normal, like I'm used to at home," she remarked after the training session.
"Our main focus is to take each game at a time and hopefully secure qualification for the Olympics. This Friday's game is crucial, and we need the energy from the crowd. Please come out and show some love to all of us," Ayisi urged the fans.
With the Black Queens aiming for their inaugural appearance in women's football at the Olympic Games, Ayisi's determination adds a valuable dimension to the team's aspirations.
