Karim Zito, coach of Dreams FC, reaffirms his decision not to apply for the Black Stars coaching position, expressing no regrets despite his team's remarkable journey to the semifinals of the CAF Confederations Cup.
Following Dreams FC's resilient performance that secured their spot in the last four of the competition, Zito addresses inquiries about his past decision, stating, "Regret no because every decision you take in your life is your destiny so I stand by it."
In an interview with Peace FM, Zito clarifies that his choice was not a reflection of his capabilities but rather a response to the intense scrutiny and criticism associated with the Black Stars coaching role at the time. "I want you to also know that not that I can't do the job but it is because of what you said the talking that time the heat was there let's be factual... and I go and add mine to it there will be chaos," he explains.
Despite the allure of coaching the national team, Zito remains committed to his current role with Dreams FC, where he continues to lead the team to significant achievements in continental football, emphasizing his dedication to the club's success in the CAF Confederations Cup.
