Ghanaian new sensation Ibrahim Osman has revealed that he opted for Brighton and Hove Albion as his next destination based on his development as a young footballer.

Osman, who is currently rated among the best U21 players in Europe, signed a long-term contract to join the English Premier League side from Danish Super Liga side FC Nordsjaelland.

The 19-year-old was acquired by Brighton and Hove Albion for a fee of €19.5 million, and he will be joining the club's pre-season slated for July 21.

The exciting winger said in an interview with TV3 that choosing the Falmer Stadium outfit ahead of other clubs wasn't a tough decision; it is a hub to nurture talents.

“I have been watching Brighton for quite a long time, and I believe they have the same style of play as FC Norsjaelland,” Osman told TV3.

Osman netted 10 goals and provided eight assists in 44 appearances across all competitions for FC Nordsjaelland in the recently concluded season.

Following his explosive performances, Ghana coach Otto Addo handed him a maiden call-up to the Black Stars and made his debut against Nigeria in March's international friendlies.

He was also invited to the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Mali and the Central African Republic.
