General Manager of Okwawu United, Nana Kwame Dankwah, has debunked claims that the bus which was donated by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) is in bad condition.

The GFA President, Kurt Okraku on Wednesday presented nine buses to some clubs in the Ghana Premier League and Division One League as partial fulfillment of its pledge during the 29th Ordinary Congress in Kumasi to give buses to clubs.

The buses were given out to Okwahu United, New Edubiase United, Young Apostles, Basake Holy Stars, Vision FC, Techiman Heroes, Victory Club Warriors FC, Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs, and Hohoe United.

Close-up shots and video showing the interior of one of the buses left many surprised, questioning whether the buses were brand new buses or second-hand buses.

However, speaking to Asempa FM, Nana Kwame Dankwah disclosed he personally drove and inspected the bus thoroughly and found the criticisms needless.

"I drove the bus myself, and while it's not brand-new, the interior is not as bad as social media pictures suggest," he said.

Nana Dankwah went ahead to show appreciation to the FA; "We at Okwawu United are thankful to the GFA for their support. This bus will greatly benefit our team."
