Black Stars newbie, Inaki Williams has expressed elation after finally making his debut for the West African nation in their 3-0 defeat to giants Brazil in an international friendly on Friday night in Le Havre, France.

Ghana really had a very difficult first half against the five champions- who scored all their goals in that period through Richarlison's brace and Marquinho's close range header.

The Athletico Bilbao forward since switching to play for Ghana, finally made his debut last night after being introduced right at the commencement of the second half to take the place of French-based Kamaldeen Sulemana.

In a post game interview with Media General's Juliet Bawuah, the lanky forward said he is very excited to finally don the Ghana shirt and has vowed to give his all to send the four time African conquerors to the highest level despite admitting the defeat wasn't a good one.

"Yeah it was not good match because Brazil is a good team. I think the second half Ghana is to be Ghana, this is the line to continue and I am very happy to stay here."

"I am very happy, my parents are very happy, my grandpa is very happy Ghana is jumping to me and I am very very happy. The match is not good but I am going to put everything to put Ghana at the top." He added

Ghana will face Nicaragua in their next friendly on Tuesday, September 27, in Spain.
