Black Stars head coach, Otto Addo says it would have have been great to have both Inaki and Nico Williams playing for Ghana.
Inaki Williams made his debut for Ghana in the Black Stars 3-0 defeat to Brazil in an international friendly last week.
Meanwhile, Nico Williams has also made his debut for Spain.
Ghana will face Uruguay, South Korea and Portugal in the group stage of the World.
Ghana will lock horns with Nicaragua today in Lorca, Spain.
Otto Addo believes it would have been amazing to have both William brothers featuring for the Black Stars.
"That would have been great but his brother decided to play for Spain which is fair and respected as well. We would have loved to see him [with] Ghana but I can understand this," he said at his pre-match press conference.
"I was also born in Germany and grew up in Germany so you also have two homes in your heart so this is always a difficult decision so we respect that; hopefully it would great if we could play against Spain," he added.
