The Black Galaxies are set to regroup again as thirty-two players have been invited to the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence on Monday, April 20, 2026, for a training camp aimed at assessing and monitoring talent.

This will be the first time the home-based national team assembles since December last year, when they played a pre-AFCON friendly against South Africa national team in Dobsonville, Johannesburg.

Head coach Kassim Ocansey Mingle has named a squad dominated by top performers in the Ghana Premier League so far, including five players from league leaders Medeama SC, four from Hearts of Oak, three from Asante Kotoko, with the rest of the players hoping from other clubs.

The camp forms part of efforts to build a comprehensive database for continuous monitoring of players ahead of upcoming international assignments, as the technical team seeks to strengthen the squad.

During their stay in Prampram, the players are expected to undergo intensive training sessions and play at least one friendly match as part of the assessment process.
