Black Galaxies head coach Kassim Ocansey Mingle has expressed elation for the game against South Africa and feels it’s a perfect test for them to assess themselves for subsequent assignments.

The Ghana’s home-based national team arrived in Soweto days ago to begin preparations towards the game coming up knowing very well the kind of statement they will make should they win.

The Galaxies have already held two training sessions with the today’s own taking place at the match venue for quick adaptation before game day.

This is going to be the last game the Bafana Bafanas will play before the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations which starts this weekend and will use to test their strength and readiness for the game.

Speaking in a pre-match presser, the experienced tactician says they are ever ready for the game and are not under any pressure

“This game [Bafana Bafana] is an opportunity for the Black Galaxies to prove that they are a very good side. I’m happy to have this friendly, but my team is not under any pressure. We believe in building, and that is exactly what I am doing.”

The game is slated for Tuesday, December 16, at the Dobsonville Stadium, at 14:00GMT (2:00pm)
