Kenpong Football Academy, based in Winneba and owned by Kennedy Agyepong, has appointed Norwegian technical expert Mark Hansen as their new manager. 

Hansen, a highly regarded Norwegian football manager, has signed a two-year contract with the Academy and will be responsible for coaching, training, and developing young players to meet international standards.

Hansen, who holds a UEFA B-license, brings with him extensive coaching experience in Norway and Spain. He has undertaken study tours with top clubs such as Liverpool, Manchester City, Barcelona, and La Masia. 

 

According to Academy President Kennedy Agyepong, Hansen's appointment is a significant step towards introducing modern trends in the management of Kenpong Academy.

 

Agyepong emphasized that Hansen has clear terms of reference and is expected to perform exceptionally to elevate the Academy's talent to the highest competitive standards. 

 

To support this goal, significant investments have been made in the Academy's infrastructure, including state-of-the-art training pitches, a modern gym, hostel facilities, a high-standard swimming pool, a luxury bus, and a modern kitchen.

 

Hansen's appointment marks a new chapter for Kenpong Football Academy as it aims to become a premier destination for nurturing football talent in Ghana and beyond.
