Highly rated right-back of division one side, King Faisal, Kwesi Addai has been demoted to the reserve side by the technical handlers of the club over bribery allegations.

The 18-year-old versatile defender who can also play as a right winger was suspected by the head coach of the club Alhaji Adamu, to have taken bribe from some officials of Kumasi based club Cornerstones prior to their league game at the Baba Yara stadium.

The game ended 3-0 in favour of the 'Obeyeyie boys' through Issaka Anaba's hat trick.

"All the suspicions and allegations that the coach levelled against me prior to kick off are completely false and unfounded. I only went to say hi to some of former colleagues of Cornerstones because they still remain my close friends, that is all" Addai told Kickgh.com

It is believed that the youngster contract with the Ejisu based club will run out this season.

Addai has netted four goals in his 20 appearances in the ongoing GN Bank Division One League.
