Kudus Mohammed and Inaki Williams are expected to join the Black Stars camp by the close of today, January 4, ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

The team officially started the camping two days ago in Kumasi and have held two training sessions already, all at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in Abrankese.

Goalkeeper Richard Ofori and Jordan Ayew after missing out on the first day, joined the group yesterday which means 25 players were present.

Kudus Mohammed per reports, has sustained a slight knock reason he is still not part of the squad whiles Inaki Williams was also ill but the good news is, they are all fully fit now and are expected in the country today.

Ghana will face the Brave Warriors of Namibia in a pre-tournament friendly on January 8, and that will be their last game before they jet off to Cote D'Ivoire for the main tournament in two days time.

Ghana have been housed in Group B alongside grand masters Egypt, Cape Verde and Mozambique.

The 2023 Africa Cup of Nations will begin on January 13, 2024, and the four-time champions will face the Blue Sharks of Cape Verde in their first game the next day in Abidjan.
