The ex-Right to Dream Academy duo have been described as the top talents in the current Black Stars team, according to their teammate.
Ghana and RC Lens midfielder Abdul Samed Salis has named Kamaldeen Sulemana and Kudus Mohammed as West Africa nation's secret weapon to achieve laurels in the coming years.
Samed Salis, who has been regarded as one of Ghana’s promising talents at the World Cup, was speaking on how Ghana could move on from their disappointing exit from the ongoing tournament in Qatar.
The French-based workaholic midfielder shares similar sentiments with the masses who have already labelled Kudus as Ghana’s next big thing in football. He believes the former Nordsjælland midfielder together with Kamaldeen Sulemana will be a great duo to spearhead the Black Stars to the next level.
He mentioned that the qualities of the Ajax man and the Rennes winger will go a long way to help the Black Stars progress in future assignments.
“Everyone knows ‘Kudus dey’, Kudus will be a big star. To me, his qualities are different from all of us. He really helps us in the game and I think Kamaldeen Sulemana if he gets more chances to play, he is a top player,” Samed Salis told 3sports
“To me because I’ve already played against him in Ligue 1 so many times. Last season, this season. Even though I won against him, I think that guy is very good. If he works harder and gets more time to play with less injury, he will be a top player,”
Mohammed Kudus stole the headlines when he struck twice to give Ghana an important 3-2 victory over South Korea at the World Cup having assisted Ghana’s first goal in the previous match against Portugal.
Following his scintillating performance at the 2022 World Cup, Kudus has been on the radar of top European clubs including Juventus, Broussia Dortmund, Real Madrid, Everton, Liverpool and Barcelona.
Kamaldeen was also a positive talking point after he was introduced during Ghana’s 2-9 defeat against Uruguay in the final group H game.
