Former President of the Republic of Ghana, John Agyekum Kufuor has lauded Ghana Football Association (GFA) boss Kurt Okraku following his re-election.
Kufuor said Okraku deserves to be applauded as president of the domestic football governing body, which he believes the FA president has done extremely well and must be commended.
Okraku held on to his position after being retained for the next four years after bagging 97.5% of votes during the 2023 GFA elections in Tamale on Thursday, October 5th, 2023.
The Executive Council of the GFA led by President Okraku visited the Peduase residence of the former gentleman of the nation to commiserate with him on the demise of his beloved wife Theresa Kufuor.
‘’I am very much aware of the energy you have brought into the Ghanaian game and wish to congratulate you on your re-election," Kufuor stated.
