Ghanaian football administrator Albert Yaya Commey has expressed strong support for the re-election of Kurt Okraku as President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

Commey disagrees with those who have harshly criticized Okraku and labeled him as a failure, stating that he believes Okraku has exceeded expectations.

Due to his positive assessment of Okraku's performance, Commey wishes to see him re-elected as GFA President to continue his philanthropic efforts.

In an interview with Rainbow Sports, Albert Commey expressed his belief that Kurt Okraku is the most suitable candidate for the position.

”This administration has done more than I expected. I’ll give them an eight and a half out of ten. Football administration appears to be proceeding smoothly in my opinion. Some have stated their intention to challenge him. They have the legal right to do so. But we must not give the impression that Kurt has failed. Kurt, I believe, is the best person,” he said.

”When you examine this administration, you will see that it has accomplished a great deal. Football was halted at some point. Things went south after the Anas revelation"

"The normalisation committee also did little because it lacked football administration experience. COVID-19 was also present. However, following Kurt’s election, some changes occurred. All of our local leagues, including the women’s league, are sponsored.”
