Head coach of the Ghana national under-15 football team, Fatawu Salifu, has praised Kurt Okraku for what he describes as major progress in the development of football coaches in Ghana.
Salifu says the leadership of the Ghana Football Association has placed strong emphasis on improving the training and education of coaches across the country.
According to him, new initiatives introduced by Okraku have created more opportunities for coaches to upgrade their skills and better guide young footballers.
Salifu explained that in the past many coaches struggled because of limited mentorship and training opportunities, but he believes the situation is improving.
He said programmes focused on workshops and continuous education have helped build a more professional coaching culture.
The former Heart of Lions FC coach believes these efforts will help strengthen Ghana’s football in the long term.
Salifu added that with such leadership, the GFA is not only focused on producing top players but also developing well-trained coaches to guide future generations.
