Bankroller of AshantiGold SC, Dr. Kwaku Frimpong has urged all AshantiGold SC supporters to remain calm and wait for the final verdict as he is very optimistic they will come out victorious on their issue with the GFA.
The Miners were demoted into the second division for allegedly playing match of convenience with Inter Allies in match-week 34 of the 2020/21 GPL season.
This also led to the suspension of Dr. Kwaku Frimpong and his son who happens to be the club's CEO, Emmanuel Frimpong from all football related activities.
However, just this morning right after the GFA announced they have banned AshantiGold SC again for dealing with banned officials, they also confirmed an injunction from the 'Aboa Kese3' outfit has been placed on the just-started 2022/23 football season, with the final ruling to be passed on October 14, 2022.
The renowned business man despite his ban and that of AshantiGold SC, has assured all football fans to remain very calm and wait for the court to pass their judgement and come out with the actual truth of the issue. He told Akoma FM in Kumasi;
"God is fighting for us, let us all remain calm and wait for the court to pass it's rightful judgement."
