Ahead of their game against Nsoatreman FC this weekend, Hearts of Oak warmed themselves up with another friendly this afternoon at the Kpobiman training complex.

They engaged lower division side Eddies FC and recorded an emphatic 5-0 victory in a stunning fashion after full time.

Young forward Isaac Frimpong- who just joined from Asekem FC, opened the scoring account on the 20th minute after they had squandered series of chances.

Raphael Amponsah doubled the lead eight minutes later to power his side with a two-goal advantage heading into the first half.

Back from recess, Kwadwo Obeng Jr scored just four minutes from the break to make it 3-0.

On the 79th minute, Hamza Issah positioned himself well and scored before Obeng Jr wrapped up the win with another goal in the last six minutes to seal his brace and their fifth of the day.

It ended 5-0 for Hearts of Oak after full time. After losing at RTU in their season opener, the Rainbow Club will set sights on nothing but a win when they welcome Nsoatreman FC this weekend.
