Accra Hearts of Oak have intensified their preparations ahead of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season resumption next month.

On Wednesday, February 26, the Phobians faced the Ghana U20 national team, also known as the Black Satellites, in a friendly match that ended in a goalless draw.

Following their recent elimination from the MTN FA Cup, Hearts of Oak used the match to regain their rhythm and fine-tune their performance as they look forward to the return of the suspended league campaign.

The Ghana Premier League was paused earlier this month by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) after Week 19, following a violent incident during a match between Nsoatreman FC and Asante Kotoko, in which a fan tragically lost their life.

The GFA has now confirmed that the Ghana Premier League will resume on March 7.

Following their friendly against the Black Satellites, Hearts of Oak will continue their training as they prepare for their Week 23 match against Young Apostles.
