Nations FC secured a place in the final of the 2025/26 MTN FA Cup after a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Aduana FC at the Swedru Stadium.

The game got off to a lively start, and it was Nations FC who made the early breakthrough after Emmanuel Annor found the back of the net to give his side the lead in just eight minutes from kickoff.

Aduana FC responded well after conceding, taking control of possession and pushing forward in search of an equalizer.

The Fire Boys created a number of attacking moments but struggled to break down a disciplined Nations FC defence that remained resolute throughout the first half.

Back from recess, the ‘Ogya’ lads increased the intensity, throwing more men forward as they chased the game. Their urgency was evident, but Nations FC stayed compact at the back to preserve their lead.

The Sky Blues on the other hand, looked dangerous on the counter and managed the game effectively, protecting their slim advantage while waiting for opportunities to extend

The result ends Aduana’s hopes of lifting the FA Cup this season, despite their strong determination, while Nations FC secure a final spot for the first time this season.

They will now face the winner of the second semi-final between Medeama SC and Dreams FC in the final.
