Medeama coach Nebojsa Kapor was happy with his team's performance in their pre-season opener against Abaam Echoes FC on Saturday.
The Yellow and Mauves kicked off their preparations for the 2024/25 campaign with a 4-0 victory after Prosper Boakye (8'), Godknows Dzakpasu (10'), Kamaradini (54'), and Abban (67') winner sealed Medeama's fate.
After the game, Kapor said he was pleased with his players' display in their first pre-season outing.
In fact, in his post-match interview with Medi TV, a delighted Kapor described the performance as "good enough" before mentioning how they've developed.
"This was our first pre-season friendly match. Our legs are a bit heavy, which is normal at this time. However, we created enough good situations, as we did recently, in terms of tactical moments.
“This is what pleases me greatly when I talk about this match because it is exactly what I wanted to see.
“From a physical perspective, we have developed very well. And how we adapted to the situation and understood it in certain moments was what I expected from the players."
