The West Ham United attacking midfielder has issued an apology to Ghanaians over the uninspiring performances of the Black Stars in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Qualifiers.

Ghana has had a disastrous campaign in the qualifying games of the next AFCON tournament, and the West African nation is still winless after four games.

Mohammed Kudus, who captained the Black Stars in the double-header against Sudan this month, has penned an apology to Ghanaians and assured them of bouncing back to winning ways in subsequent matches.

Coach Otto Addo's side have picked only two points in four games, and the defeat to Sudan on matchday four has jeopardized the hopes of qualification to the next AFCON.

Ghana will secure the remaining slot in Group F should they secure wins in the final games against Niger and Angola in November. Angola have already booked themselves a ticket to the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations scheduled to be staged in Morocco.
