Premier League side, FC Samartex has insisted that they will need massive security in the MTN Round of 64 match with Skyy FC, Kickgh.com has learned.
According to a grapevine source, the Timber Giants family are not so much enthused about the police officers at Daboase and have called for Military protection on Wednesday.
The last time the two teams met at Daboase on Sunday, April 3, 2022 in the Division One League, it resulted in fracas and some officials of Samartex were subjected to inhumane treatment.
Because of this, the Officials of Samartex have informed the Ghana Football Association to beef up security to avoid any unfortunate incident.
FC Samartex are in a sizzling form in the ongoing league, currently placing 3rd on the league log and they would want to transfer this impressive performance in the Cup match against Skyy FC.
