Chris Hughton, the coach of the Ghanaian national football team, has set his sights on a specific objective: to qualify for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon).

As an experienced football manager, Hughton understands the importance of setting priorities and objectives for his team.

With the Afcon tournament fast approaching, he is determined to guide his players through the qualifying rounds and secure their spot in the prestigious competition.

In an interview with Supersport, Hughton stated, "This has to be the priority, to get results in these games, because ultimately it is about making sure we are in Afcon in January...qualify for Afcon in January."

He also expressed his intention to build a strong team and look at more local players over time.

Currently, Ghana is leading the Afcon qualifiers Group E with eight points after four games.
