Newly-promoted Ghana Premier League side, Nations FC have announced they will be traveling to South Africa for training tour and are also working on getting another in Europe for their preseason ahead of next season.
The Eagles have been confirmed champions of Division One-Zone II after defying all odds to fend off stiffer competition from Skyy FC to have their hands gripped on the ultimate spot.
With a game to climax the season, Johnson Smith's have 69 points after 29 games and were culminated from 21 wins, 6 draws and 2 defeats.
They have now joined Zone III conquerors Kpando Heart of Lions and winners of Zone I Bofoakwa Tano to be the newly-promoted sides of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.
Speaking on Kumasi-based Pure FM, Kennedy Boakye Ansah- who happens to be Brand, Commercial and Communication Manager of the club confirmed that, as part of their preparations, they will be traveling to South Africa for preseason and wre also working on pitching another training camp in Italy subsequently.
"We will have our preseason camp in South Africa, there are also plans for Italy as well, this shows how serious we are ahead of our maiden premiership campaign."
Nations FC will host Asokwa Deportivo at Abrankese in their final fixture of the season on Saturday, June 3, 2023.
