A female staff of the National Sports Authority (NSA) was arrested on Sunday, December 24, 2023 for allegedly selling unauthorised tickets when Asante Kotoko hosted Real Tamale United in the Ghana Premier League.
The lady, who is in her late twenties, was caught by the leadership of Asante Kotoko in possession of a large number of fake tickets for the Ghana Premier League match-week 16 fixture at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
She was taken to the Asokwa Divisional Command of the Ghana Police Service to assist them in further investigation.
Two other suspects were later arrested at different locations in Kumasi.
The Police confirmed to Kickgh.com that they have commenced a search to apprehend the other suspect, who was involved in the printing of the unauthorised tickets, to face the law.

Meanwhile, a second half penalty converted by Ugandan international Steven Mukwala Dese aided Asante Kotoko to record a narrow victory over Real Tamale United to keep their title winning hopes alive.
The Porcupine Warriors are unbeaten in their last six Premier League matches, picking sixteen points ahead of their final game in the first round against Bofoakwa Tano.
Asante Kotoko currently lies sixth position with 26 points after Ghana Premier League match-week 16.
