Yaw Preko, the newly appointed coach of Nsoatreman FC, has suggested that the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi might serve as the venue for their CAF Confederation Cup matches.

Preko, a veteran coach with extensive experience in African football, views the stadium's top-notch facilities as a strong option for hosting their continental fixtures. The former Medeama and Great Olympics coach recently signed a two-year contract with the Nsoatre-based club, stepping into the role vacated by Maxwell Konadu, who moved to South Africa to join Black Leopards.

Preko will take charge of Nsoatreman FC as they prepare for their debut season in the CAF Confederation Cup. “I think that from what I heard from the GM, we will play in Kumasi,” Preko told Peace FM, as reported by Footballghana.com.

He will begin his duties immediately as the team gears up for their first-ever participation in the CAF Confederation Cup next season. Nsoatreman FC will discover their preliminary round opponents on Thursday, July 11, 2024, during the draw set to take place in Cairo, Egypt.
