The experienced tactician has rejoined the ‘Oly Dade’ family after season spell at FC Samartex

Ghana Premier League side Accra Great Olympics have announced the acquisition of Annor Walker as new head coach ahead of the 2023/24 season's campaign.

Walker has returned to the capital based club as replacement for Bismark Kobby Mensah, whose contract with Great Olympics expired last month.

The veteran coach mutually parted ways with FC Samartex despite guiding the team to finish the season on 10th place of the Ghana Premier League at the end of the 2022/23 season.

Walker, who was heavily linked to Hearts of Oak, has officially signed a two-year contract with Great Olympics to head the club's technical team ahead of the new season expected to commence in September.

Prior to the start of the 2020/21 league season, Walker was appointed head coach of Great Olympics whereby he led them to finish sixth.

He improved on that position the next season, helping the Dade Boys to finish in fifth spot in the 2021/2022 season.

Great Olympics had a difficult campaign last season after finishing fifteen position on the Ghana Premier League log with just 42 points.
