Former Hearts of Oak trainer, Samuel Boadu has been appointed as the new head coach of the Black Satellites.

The Ghana Football Association official announced the appointment of Samuel Boadu on Monday morning.

 
 
He takes over from Abdul Karim Zito, who led the U-20 side to win Gold at the 2021 Nations Cup in Mauritania.
 
He will lead Ghana at the 2023 African Games in Accra.
 
Samuel Boadu was axed as the head coach of Ghana Premier League side, Hearts of Oak after series of poor performances in the 2022/23 season.
 
He led Hearts of Oak to win one GPL title, two MTN FA Cups and the Super Cup during his two-year stay at the Accra-based side.
 
He will be assisted by Desmond Offei, a former U-18 and U-20 head coach at Royal Antwerp FC.
 
Coach Salifu Fatawu will remain also serve as an assistant coach to Boadu, with former Black Stars goalkeeper Fatawu Dauda serving as the goalkeeper's coach.
