The Asaase Aban! Yente Gyae lads went into the game as favorites, having snatched a 3-1 win over Blue Skies Pelicans in their penultimate game last Wednesday.
Okwahu United won the league title and was presented with a cash prize of GHC5,000.
The leadership of the Eastern Regional Football Association was present at the Kyebi Astro Turf to hand the trophy, medals, and cash prize to the Asaase Aban boys.
Okwahu United, who were relegated to the third-tier league in 2017 continued a superb record in the middle league, winning all five of their matches. On the path to the middle league, Okwahu wrapped up their 2022/23 season with an unbeaten record.
