Ghana President, Nana Akuffo-Addo says Otto Addo and the current technical team are the best guide the Black Stars at the World Cup.

Otto Addo led Ghana, as an interim head coach, to qualify for the World Cup at the expense of arch-rivals Nigeria in March.

Subsequently, the Ghana Football Association(GFA) appointed him together with George Boateng and Mas-ud Didi Dramani as assistants.

Former Norwich trainer, Chris Hughton was also appointed as the technical advisor for the Black Stars.

Otto Addo is expected to name his provisional squad for the mundial today.

Ghana lost to Brazil before beating Nicaragua in an international friendlies last month.

Ghana will face Switzerland in their last preparatory test on 17th November in Dubai.

Speaking at the seat of the President, Nana Akuffo-Addo said: "what is always a problem is Ministers, President and others influencing players on coaches, we don’t want it that way because we have confidence in the people you have chosen. I think we’ve got a very good technical team of Otto Addo, Chris Hughton, George Boateng and Didi Dramani.

“We’ve got a very good set of people to guide our players so we should leave them to work because they are the best combination for us and the rest of us will do our best to support them” he said.
