Seth Panwum, Board chairman of the National Sports Authority, has demanded the immediate sacking of Ghana coach Otto Addo.
His comments come on the back of Ghana's 2-1 loss to Niger at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday.
While the Niger defeat was Ghana's first at the Accra Sports Stadium in sixteen years, the Black Stars failure to qualify for next year's tournament was the talking point.
Speaking to Angel FM, Seth Panwum said; “Otto Addo must be sacked because he was given a performance contract and he has failed to perform.”
Ghana finished bottom of Group F with just three points. Meanwhile, the Ghana FA's Executive Council will meet on Wednesday to review the team's poor performance in the qualifiers.
