Asante Kotoko's justify to create a new strong youth side begun last Tuesday at team's training base in Adako-Jachie with massive turnouts recorded.
The club announced early this year their plans and intentions of establishing a very strong youth team which will mainly serve as a feeder side for the senior team in subsequent years to come.
With that, they decided to organize a tryout which begun on Tuesday, January 17, for young footballers in the country to start the project and is expected to run for four days.
Coach Abdulai Gazale and some other technical team members were present to help hunt for the best amongst and the event was also graced by club CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah.
Over 800 young footballers were present at Adako-Jachie to showcase their talents and quality and probably hope they impress to be drafted into the final list.
The trials will continue today, January 18, and in the next two days to finalize with everything and select befitting players based on nothing but merit.
